This guide explains the confirmed core mechanics supplied for the FPL DYM head-to-head leagues and FUCL.

Weekly fixtures

Twenty managers compete in DPL and twenty in DCL. Each manager plays the other 19 managers twice—once at home and once away—for 38 matches.

The official FPL score from the corresponding Gameweek becomes the manager’s score in the FPL DYM fixture.

League ranking

Managers are ranked by league points. When managers are level, the supplied tie-break order is:

  1. Goal difference
  2. Goals scored
  3. Head-to-head record, if needed
  4. First to register in the current season

The manager top of the table after all fixtures is champion; there is no title play-off.

Promotion and relegation

The bottom three DPL managers are relegated to DCL. Three DCL managers are promoted to replace them. The bottom three DCL managers are relegated to DBL, with three DBL managers promoted.

DBL is the entry division for new managers and may have more than 50 participants depending on registration.

FUCL progression

Thirty-six teams qualify from DPL, DCL and DBL, including the defending FUCL title holder. Each plays eight different opponents in a single league table.

  • Top 8: direct qualification to Round of 16
  • 9th–24th: two-legged play-off
  • 25th–36th: eliminated
  • Round of 16 onward: knockout ties
  • Quarter-final legs: Gameweeks 26 and 29
  • Final: one match in Gameweek 38
